摘要: Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) is one of the most frequently diagnosed disorders in children with intellectual disabilities (ID). However, high variability results prevalence studies suggests problems that should be investigated further, such as possible overlap between some ODD symptoms and challenging behaviors are especially prevalent ID. The study aimed to investigate whether there differences functioning (n = 189) without 474) disabilities. To do so, we analyzed extent which parental ratings on DSM-5 were metrically invariant groups using models based item response theory. indicated two non-invariant, degrees bias ranging from moderately (“annoys others purpose”) low (“argues adults”). Caution advised use these for assessment diagnosis Once was controlled, measurement model suggested prevalences 8.4% (children ID) 3% (typically developing children). Theoretical practical implications discussed.
