摘要: Abstract An iridium complex coordinated with 2-phenylpyridine (ppy) and 8-hydroxyquinoline (q), ppy2Irq, was synthesized its thermal stability, absorption, photoluminescence, crystal structure electrophosphorescence were characterized. The melting point of this material reaches as high 374 °C does not suffer decomposition upon heating at vacuum therefore can be well sublimated. When ppy2Irq used a guest emitting in the electrophosphorescent device, emission is 100% saturated red light starting ∼600 nm, extending into near-infrared region. bathochromic shift, compared to fluorescence phosphorescence from Alq3, Ptq2 Ir(ppy)3, analyzed originate triplet excited state ligand analysis excludes origin π–π intermolecular interactions.
