摘要: Trace element fingerprinting has been widely used for identification of provenance regional food. In the case products from conventional agriculture, it is expected that elemental composition will comply with commercially available substrate plants. Therefore, without a direct relationship soil region-specific differences in are no longer recognizable. The idea this work labeling tomatoes rare earth elements (REE) ultra-trace range food authentication.; Results: Labeling was carried out either by watering Nd- and Er-spiked water or adding these as solid oxides to soil. both cases enrichment Nd Er relative control group detected tomato fruits leaves using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. Tomato plants rapidly absorb dissolved REE irrigation water, short period just before ripeness sufficient induce labels.; Conclusion: trace amounts could potentially be assure local origin separate foreign origin. © 2018 Authors.
