摘要: This paper analyzes evangelical Christian geopolitical imaginations by studying audience interpretations of the Left Behind books and related sacred texts such as Bible. is a series fictional that portray narrative end world, culminating in return Jesus Christ. Utilizing qualitative content analysis 50 "Current Events" discussion threads taken from Internet-based Prophecy Club bulletin board, author finds fans utilize imagination focused almost entirely on Israel, with Iran Islam serving specific general 'Other', respectively.
