摘要: Abstract Carbon formation on an alumina-supported iron catalyst has been studied under CO hydrogenation conditions in a combined high-pressure microbalance/microreactor. The carbon process is characterized by initial, very rapid period of formation, followed significantly slower deposition. Typically, the amount deposited exceeded corresponding to bulk carbide after only few minutes reaction. initial rate deposition increased with increasing reaction temperature and partial, pressure, decreased partial pressure hydrogen. Transient experiments revealed presence several types surface different reactivity towards
