摘要: Abstract Four children, between the ages of 4 and 14 years, were studied because severe bone deformities resembling clinical rickets. On admission all had elevated serum 1,25-(OH) 2 D, PTH alkaline phosphatase concentrations low urinary calcium excretion. All normal 25-OHD concentrations. During hospitalization on a ward diet containing approximately 1200 mg calcium/day, radiological lesions healed, PTH, D returned to normal, excretion increased. children been resident in rural community, where previous studies Indicated that with similar dietary intake (125 mg/day). It is suggested deformities, high are due an Inadequate intake, which was corrected hospital.
