摘要: Abstract Corrosion inhibition of mild steel in hydrochloric acid solution by salicylidene-4,4′-dimorpholine (SDM) and SDM assembled on nickel oxide nanoparticles (NiONPs) has been studied with gravimetric, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) polarization techniques. Inhibition was found to increase increasing concentration the inhibitors. While studying temperature effect corrosion behaviour NiONPs, efficiency decreases for only but increases NiONPs. The adsorption both inhibitors surface obeys Langmuir isotherm. activation energy as well other thermodynamic parameters (ΔH* ΔS*) process calculated. EIS analysis results showed that capacitive loops NiONPs were far away from blank when compared only. Polarization curve shows are mixed type. Further, protective layer formation confirmed atomic force microscopy (AFM) results. Various methods such EIS-MS, 1H NMR, XRD, FTIR, DLS performed confirmation structure, interaction size
