摘要: The nonerythroid expression of the Duffy blood group protein (gp-Fy) was confined to certain cell types. Immunocytochemistry studies kidney showed gp-Fy in endothelium glomeruli, peritubular capillaries, vasa recta, and principal cells (epithelial) collecting ducts. Gp-Fy also produced endothelial large venules epithelial (type-I) pulmonary alveoli. In thyroid, only capillaries gp-Fy. spleen, high venule, sinusoids abundant Ultrastructural that apical basolateral plasma membrane domains, including caveolae, had Immunoblot analysis substantially less than erythrocytes. Moreover, analyzed organs Duffy-negative individuals did not produce more compensate for lack this their nucleotide sequence size mRNA from a Duffy-positive individual were same as bone marrow. It is assumed, therefore, product gene This notion reinforced by fact erythroid have antigenic domains.
