3 He NMR with a 100 μm Planar Nb Coil

摘要: A superconducting 100 μm planar coil has been tested for low field cw NMR. The nine-turn 5 nH is connected via a 1:8 step-up transformer to an external parallel capacitor and resonated at 0.8 MHz give Q of 350. tank circuit voltage measured with liquid He temperature GaAs MESFET preamplifier. Test experiments have conducted by immersing the Si chip pick-up in solid3He measure their NMR absorptions range 0.05 – 0.5 K.
