摘要: Cancer Research UK and Ludwig convened an inaugural international Prevention Nutrition Conference in London on December 3–4, 2018. Much of the discussion focused need for systematic, interdisciplinary approaches to better understand relationships nutrition, exercise, obesity metabolic dysfunction with cancer development. Scientists at meeting underscored importance studying temporal natural history exposures that may cumulatively impact risk later life. A robust dialogue identified as a major cancer, food environment, especially high energy low nutrient processed foods, strong prevalent factors obesity. Further engagement highlighted challenges post-diagnostic setting, where similar opportunities complex interplay physical activity, weight will inform health outcomes. Going forward, holistic research approaches, encompassing insights from multiple disciplines perspectives, catalyze progress urgently needed prevent improve public health.
