摘要: The dependence of the saturable absorber mode‐locked pulse shape upon relaxation time is determined when laser gain assumed constant. pulses are found to be asymmetric with a slowly rising edge and more rapidly decaying edge. width weak function TA, becoming broader increasing TA. Furthermore, experience delay in traversing which lengthens cavity transit time. growth perturbations introduced into steady state shown bounded, indicating that stable operation possible even cases where TA comparable or greater than steady‐state pulse.
