摘要: This study compares conventional and molecular techniques for the detection of fungi in 77 adult cystic fibrosis (CF) patients. Three different methods were investigated, i.e., (1) microbiological culture (including yeasts filamentous fungi), (2) mycological with CF-derived fungal specific media, (3) Non-culture direct DNA extraction from patient sputa. Fungi isolated environmental air samples CF unit compared to sputa (n = 107) detected 14/77(18%) patients by method 1, 60/77 (78%) 2 3, 77/77(100%) The majority Candida albicans C. dubliniensis.
