摘要: Experimental data show that the breakthrough curves observed in filtration case of both surface‐force‐dominated deposition and flocculation‐dominated display a general similarity. Some theoretical observations on these extreme cases behavior are presented. The analyses presented focus prediction could be expected each case. Solutions for given, their relationship to mechanisms corresponding boundary conditions is examined. models provide approach deposition, contact‐flocculation filtration, direct related phenomena. parameters included formulation represent gross accumulation (deposition) or forces oppose deposition. applicable various types waters, flocculants, filter beds, soils.
