摘要: Abstract The effect of early aggressive antihypertensive treatment on kidney function in diabetic nephropathy was studied prospectively ten insulin-dependent diabetics (mean age 29 years). During the mean pretreatment period (range 23-38) months glomerular filtration rate (GFR) decreased significantly and urinary albumin excretion arterial blood pressure rose significantly. 39 month 28-48) with metoprolol, hydralazine, frusemide (furosemide) or thiazide, fell from 144/97 mm Hg all values) to 128/84 post-treatment values), 977 μg/min 433 μg/min, GFR 80 62 ml/min/L·73 m 2 . decline 0·91 ml/min/month before 0·39 0·08 0·68 ml/min/month) during treatment.
