摘要: Abstract Purpose The predictive relationship between candidate selection criteria for surgical training programs and future performance during at the completion of has been investigated several specialties, however there is no interspecialty agreement regarding which should be used. Better understanding reliability factors may help to optimize process lead greater standardization process. Methods PubMed Ovid MEDLINE databases were searched. Over 560 potentially relevant publications identified using search strategy screened Cochrane Collaboration Data Extraction Assessment Template. Results 57 studies met inclusion criteria. Several used in traditional demonstrated inconsistent correlation with subsequent end training. following criteria, however, good relationships resident performance: USMLE examination scores, Letters Recommendation (LOR) including Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE), academic clinical clerkships, interview process, displaying excellence extracurricular activities, use unadjusted rank lists. Conclusions This systematic review supports that current needs further evaluated improved. Multicenter standardized outcome measures success are now required improve select best trainees.
