Cost- and reliability-oriented aggregation point association in long-term evolution and passive optical network hybrid access infrastructure for smart grid neighborhood area network

摘要: With the rapid development of smart grid, data aggregation point (AP) in neighborhood area network (NAN) is becoming increasingly important for forwarding information between home and wide network. Due to limited budget, it unable use one-single access technology meet ongoing requirements on AP coverage. This paper first introduces wired wireless hybrid with integration long-term evolution (LTE) passive optical (PON) system NAN, which allows a good trade-off among cost, flexibility, reliability. Then, based already existing LTE network, an association optimization model proposed make PON serve as many APs possible, considering both economic efficiency Moreover, since features constraints variables this NP-hard problem, intelligent algorithm proposed, achieved by mixture genetic, ant colony dynamic greedy algorithm. By comparing other published methods, simulation results verify performance method improving coverage terms convergence.
