摘要: Data consisting of samples species' presences in association with measurements on a set environmental variables can be used to determine factors separating the species. It multiple discriminant model is modified by covariance extraction time effects applied within—species, and total, deviation squares cross products matrices prior analysis, then temporally varying parameters included. If distribution sampling space consistent over time, species as well space, determined; if it not, separation still determined even were collected at different times. The analogous Hutchinsonian niche model; its use illustrated artificial data, data from benthic stream community demonstrate heterogeneity sizes, niches related substrate type water depth. Trophically similar are more environmentally separated than trophically species; spatial for herbivore—detritivores, temporal carnivores.
