摘要: Fluids with compositions in the system CO2-H2O-NaCl were trapped quartz veins enclosed low-grade metamorphic rocks (chlorite zone) on southern flank of Canigo Massif, eastern Pyrenees. The veins, which also contain arsenopyrite crystals, formed contemporaneously main Hercynian foliation and metamorphism. Volumetric properties fluid results geothermometry suggest P-T trapping conditions 4.6–6 kbar 450–530° C. This implies that an episode metamorphism average geothermal gradient 25° C km−1 occurred during deformation event. preceded low-P/high-T described around domes to date considered as characteristic orogeny
