摘要: In order to improve the HXR emission from APF plasma focus device we have investigated effect of insulator sleeve outer diameter (O.D.) and its length. Fourteen different geometries at three filling gas pressures 6, 7 8 Torr neon are used in present investigation. The average yield, measured using scintillation detector, has been found increase with O.D. 31 34 mm. Further 37 mm, however, decreased yield. highest magnitude 234.5 kA was achieved for mm pressure voltage 12 kV.
