摘要: Data of 1727 Nelore heifers born from 1993 to 1999 were analyzed in order compare heritability estimate values subsequent rebreeding (SR) using linear and non-linear models. SR was defined as the observation two years old conceiving remaining pregnant palpation, given a previous pregnancy around 14 months exposure during breeding season. Restricted maximum likelihood (REML) Bayesian inference used variance components for These models included contemporary group service period fixed effects animal residual random effects. Heritability estimates 0.05 0.11, higher obtained after transformed them an underlying normal scale. The non model even (0.16). inclusion heifer trait selection indexes cattle can contribute increase fertility herds.
