摘要: Electrostatic interactions in bio-molecular systems are important not only the living cell but also more technical applications. Using molecular simulation as well approximate theories properties of a number aqueous protein solutions have been studied. This includes with other proteins, protons, charged membranes flexible polyelectrolytes. The focus is on electrostatic and special attention put charge regulation. I.e. how protonation state biomolecule influenced by nearby species. We show that this gives an contribution to free energy mechanism can be accounted for simple statistical mechanical model. In particular we introduce concept capacitance key intrinsic property quantifying
