摘要: I discuss the robustness of pumped cavity dynamics against phase diffusion laser and conclude that optomechanical cooling has extreme sensitivity compared to atoms. Certain proposals for ground-state by a single would require an unrealistically sharp linewidth or, equivalently, very low level noise. A systematic way cancel classical excess noise is interferometric twin-cavity pumping, initiated optically trapped macromirrors future gravitational-wave detectors.
