摘要: Coastal wetlands are important natural habitats. Wetland restoration and creation projects often conducted, in part to mitigate for habitat loss, but the factors leading success of such not fully understood. A management project was examined Yellow River Delta Natural Nature Reserve where large impounded salt marshes were flooded with freshwater goal creating fresh marsh habitat. Areas had greater water depth, lower salinity, bulk density, more porous softer soils than unmanipulated areas. The plant Phragmites australis replaced species Suaeda salsa Tamarix chinensis at high elevations, flooding led an extinction plants middle elevations. Freshwater reduced densities diversity macrobenthos marsh, almost absent marsh. There no overlap macrobenthic between treated control areas, richness areas very low. results suggest that this technique is likely achieve its goals higher future may be improved by selecting elevation sites or improving techniques better reduce salinities sites. As only partially functional, type should proceed after identifying will produce results.
