摘要: A general parametrization scheme for the electric dipole intensities of lanthanide 4f → 4f crystal‐field transitions is proposed. This sufficiently to accommodate any intensity mechanism based on ‘‘one‐electron’’ and ‘‘one‐photon’’ approximations lanthanide‐ligand‐radiation field interactions. It includes as a subset, familiar Judd–Ofelt–Axe parameters, AtpΞ(t, λ), but introduces additional parameters which are shown be essential in cases where lanthanide‐ligand pairwise interactions cannot assumed cylindrically symmetric.
