摘要: This article reviews the problems which lead to less than adequate treatment of pain for patients at end life. The public has demonstrated a tremendous increase in concern about dying, possibility uncontrolled during terminal stages life, and desire assure dignity control time death. concerns, particularly pain, have helped drive assisted-suicide discussions. Review current status discussion barriers improved are first steps improving patient care providing meaningful reassurance patients. Assisting clinicians provide best possible care, relief, overcome whenever they can is patient's interest.
