摘要: A provided smart switch called Occupant Counter Control Switch, or OCCS, basically comprises of a motion sensor PIR, photo sensor, an amplifier with band-pass filter, microprocessor, digital display, and relay triac to drive electrical appliances such as lights. The PIR detects heat from human body moving across it generates distinctive signal that is, unique each the two directions, further processed by microprocessor for counting thereby controlling relay. Installed at entrance room replacing regular (see FIG. 1 ), OCCS counts up, displaying digit great than zero, upon detecting person entering turns on lights if sensing insufficient ambient light. constantly energizes during is occupied immediately switches them off down zero when last exiting room.
