Pattern Recognition in the Factory: An Example

摘要: A practical application of pattern recognition installed in the Renault factory at Cleon (France) is described. This concerns automatic depalletisation crankshafts by an industrial robot. The need for several types sensors stressed and problems encountered during installation discussed. used are: a TV camera with appropriate illumination interface systems, sonar carried robot, two photocells inductive sensors. strategy management utmost importance to insure high reliability system.
