摘要: This review of the counseling literature analyzes motivating and impeding factors for adults adolescents regarding smoking cessation. Adults prefer to stop on their own; however, even brief will increase chances success. In addition giving support, counselors can facilitate cessation by increasing clients' motivation teaching stress management. Counselors must be aware how social environment influence a client's status. With recent increases in adolescent smoking, particularly among African Americans, should prepared help an population clients who require assistance.
