摘要: The mite Varroa destructor (Anderson & Treuman 2000) is one of the world’s most important plagues apiculture. In Brazil this does not encounter good conditions for parasitism because weather are ideal its maintenance, and some strains Africanized honey bees resistant to parasite. This status reflected in low number dead colonies caused by varroatosis also stability infestation levels. aim study was evaluate damage infestations hives with higher levels than ones considered normal Brazilian apiaries. level each colony determined mortality rates parasitized during development were periodically recorded. G Test Independence a Proportions used compare data. pupae larvae mostly proportional colony. All showed significantly control one. honeybee high varied from 19.27% 23.28% ( X = 21.27%) 15.71% 16.15% 15.93%), against 3.85% 3.74% colony, respectively. average hurtful effects were, respectively, 5.52 4.26 times greater those two developmental stages. Thus it can be concluded that even tropical regions, like Brazil, necessary give special attention (IR), particularly where IR tends higher.
