摘要: Introduction: Informing children of their own HIV status is an important aspect long-term disease management, yet there little evidence how and when this type disclosure takes place in resource-limited settings its impact. Methods: MEDLINE, EMBASE Cochrane Databases were searched for the terms hiv AND disclos* (child* OR adolesc*). We reviewed 934 article citations references relevant articles to find describing adolescents settings. Data extracted regarding prevalence disclosure, factors influencing process impact on caregivers. Results: Thirty-two met inclusion criteria, with 16 reporting disclosure. Of these studies, proportions disclosed ranged from 0 69.2%.
