摘要: Abstract This paper discusses the crucial role of visibility and invisibility in socio-spatial acceptability new renewable energy landscapes. Observing hydropower development Italian Eastern Alps, we show how were purposely used to hide spatial, social environmental injustices. These strategies, often supported also by landscape policies, actually limit any possible collaborative 'making' landscapes, which should be based on transparency objectives actions. Among several public policies private actions, it is identify ten strategies (masking, burying, camouflaging, removing, distracting, staging, digging up, prefiguring, mapping, storytelling) adopted increase prevent conflicts or, contrary, expose problem, revealing opaque processes unfair spatial effects.
