摘要: Schizophrenic patients are at high risk for suicide. Most of the clinical features illness which have been associated with suicide remain speculative. This study provides an empirical test hypothetical factors from literature. Results indicate that schizophrenic who kill themselves internalized standards performance often congruent past educational attainments. They also realistically aware effects their illness, feel inadequate in relation to goals, and fear further mental disintegration. Their affect is depressed, they express hopelessness about future. Suicidal ideation explicit threats precede death. These results can be used assess among patients.
