摘要: Abstract Noble metals alloyed with certain transition in the form of a nanoalloy exhibit enhanced catalytic or electrocatalytic activities for number oxidation reactions. This chapter discusses some important insights into how interatomic distances and structures catalysts operate synergistically activating oxygen maneuvering surface oxygenated species by highlighting examples which Pt Pd is second and/or third metal (M/M′ = Co, V, Ni, Cu) carbon monoxide gas phase alcohols an electrolyte. One emphasis placed on understanding atomic-scale chemical/structural ordering coordination correlation properties based findings from ex situ synchrotron X-ray techniques such as high energy diffraction coupled to atomic pair distribution function absorption fine structure spectroscopic analysis. The detailed active sites nanoalloys has significant implications design low-cost, active, durable sustainable production conversion
