摘要: Short-interval, paired-pulse transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is usually used to demonstrate intracortical inhibition. It was shown recently that with short-interval, TMS a facilitation - called I-wave can also be demonstrated. the aim of this study investigate which stimulus conditions lead inhibition and what yield an in hand muscle normal subjects. Paired-pulse responses interstimulus interval 1.2 ms were obtained from abductor digiti minimi four A threshold-hunting paradigm hunting through first or second variation obtain curve threshold-pair strengths. All subjects showed two branches interaction on diagram. If threshold pair below approximately 65% resting motor it modified response primarily due However, if exceeded became responsible for spinal action-potential initiation. The subsequent served as "booster" ongoing activity, making impossible observe evoked by stimulus.
