摘要: The laser-rf double-resonance technique has been used to obtain 1-ppm measurements of the largest hyperfine intervals in ground (5d6s/sup 2/ /sup 2/D/sub 3/2/) and first excited 5/2/) atomic levels 0.09% abundant 138/La with a beam unenriched lanthanum. hfs ratios A/sup 138//A/sup 139/ B/sup 138//B/sup are thereby obtained. former shows 0.36% anomaly respect NMR ratio nuclear g factors. uncertainty new value 139/=+2.27 +- 0.04 arises from uncertainties interpreting hyperfine-anomaly effects observed. 138,139/La isotope shift is evaluated for both lines studied.
