摘要: :  Chronic microglial activation endangers neuronal survival through release of various toxic pro-inflammatory molecules; therefore, negative regulators have been identified as potential therapeutic candidates for use in treatment many neurological diseases. In this study, we conducted an investigation the inhibitory effects glycoprotein isolated from Laminaria japonica (LJGP) on production lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced mediators BV2 cells. Data from study indicated that with LJGP resulted significant inhibition excessive nitric oxide and prostaglandin E2 LPS-stimulated also attenuated expression inducible synthase, cyclooxygenase-2, cytokines, including interleukin-1β tumor necrosis factor-α. addition, exhibited anti-inflammatory properties by suppression nuclear factor-kappaB downregulation extracellular signal-regulated kinase, p38 mitogen-activated protein Akt pathways. These findings suggest may provide neuroprotection proinflammatory pathway activated microglia.
