Integrated approach for sustainable development of energy, water and environment systems

摘要: Abstract The Conferences on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES) at the beginning 21st century have become a significant venue for researchers to meet, initiate, discuss, share, disseminate new ideas in various disciplines sustainable development. In 2002, first conference was organised Dubrovnik, Croatia since then, 10 more successful conferences were realised. Following success international organizing committees decided organize main regional all over world even years. 2016, second SDEWES conference, namely 2nd South East European Conference Systems, held June 15–18 Piran/Portorose, Slovenia while 11th Lisbon, Portugal September 4–8. There special sessions dedicated sustainability topics both conferences. This issue is based primarily upon collection 35 papers selected from among 538 scientific contributions presented SEE Conferences.
