摘要: A simultaneous study on workers' and swimmers' exposure to trihalomethanes (THMs) in an indoor swimming pool has been carried out by analyzing urine samples using the headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry technique. The subjects of this were male female workers as well swimmers regularly attending pool. results reported show that only chloroform bromodichloromethane detected those people exposed, which can be used a specific index these compounds. THM uptake after 1 h was higher than 4 work shift since levels associated with inhalation, while mainly dermal absorption, apart from inhalation occasional ingestion, increased due physical stress (swimming). kinetics excretion participants exposed calculated termination select sampling time determine elimination process. An interval 15 min selected time, absorbed dosage eliminated 2 exposure. good correlation between concentrations found water urinary affected also obtained.
