摘要: An optical pedestal fiber is configured to be taperable form a tapered having mode field diameter at the end that differs from untapered in correspondence with difference between cladding and end. A plurality of such fibers can used construct bundle coupler provides matching both core pitch input individual cores multicore fiber. Further, constructed using fibers, which are have different effective refractive indices, thereby suppressing crosstalk therebetween.
