摘要: A short optical glass is disclosed which particularly suited for the applications imaging, projection, telecommunication, information technology and/or laser technology, also fiber (light guides or imaging guides). Preferably, has a refractive index of 1.54≦n d ≦1.62 and an Abbe coefficient 48≦v =57. It further good attenuating ion exchange characteristics, chemical stability crystallization stability. The comprises 35 to 50 wt.-% SiO 2 , 0.1 6 B O 3 7 Al 4 P 5 24 R (alkali oxides), 14.5 BaO, 0 12 other RO (alkaline earth 14 25 ZnO, La 10 ZrO wherein alkali oxide, alkaline oxide than Li at most, does not contain any GeO SnO, SnO AgO, Sb and, preferably, no rare oxides, may be molten while adding suitable purifying agents.
