摘要: Nitrogen requirements to achieve rice grain yields higher than 13 t ha−1 and the associated internal N-utilization efficiency (NUE) have not been documented. The objective of this study was compare N accumulation NUE irrigated in tropical subtropical environments at yield-potential levels both climates. Field experiments were conducted 1995 1996 International Rice Research Institute, Philippines (IRRI, site), Taoyuan Township, Yunnan, China (subtropical site). Three five high-yielding cultivars grown under optimum crop management. Plants sampled key growth stages determine tissue concentration, plant accumulation, harvest index (NHI), translocation ratio NUE. Plant maturity 19 30% greater Yunnan IRRI. Most difference resulted from uptake rate during vegetative period During reproductive grain-filling periods, similar or IRRI Yunnan. Grain concentration lower straw grains filling IRRI, these traits contributed larger NHI Cultivars that produced over required about 250 kg within had a 59 64 per N.
