摘要: Objectives Acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) are major components COPD-related socioeconomic burden. Upper or lower respiratory tract infections, usually caused by viruses bacteria, common causes AECOPD. Vaccination aganist influenza virus and Streptoccus pneumoniae, the most prevalent agents, is recommended COPD guidelines. The aims this study were to determine factors affecting vaccination among patients with assess effect status on Materials methods Patients recruited from outpatient clinic a tertiary hospital between December 2014 January 2015. Demographic data, status, admissions triggered tracheobronchial infections evaluated. Results In total, 108 enrolled; 102 (94%) subjects male, 6 (6%) female; mean age was 65.6 years. number who had received pneumococcal vaccinations 8 (0.07%) 36 (33.3%), respectively. There no significant correlation level education status. No difference found two groups in terms exacerbation frequency, hospitalization rates, mMRC scores, stages. Conclusion More efforts both physicians needed reach ideal rates for COPD.
