摘要: Abstract The upgrading potential of quince ( Cydonia oblonga Miller) wastes was evaluated for production fiber-rich powders with useful functional and physiological properties. As a first approach, three products were obtained by applying different drying conditions without or previous extraction either water ethanol. Chemical compositions as well physical properties the isolated fractions in relation to oil absorption characterization. presented interesting hydration comparable those reported citrus apple pulps. At same time, all dried showed high spontaneous rate kinetics assay. Oil seemed essentially depend on microstructural characteristics fiber powders, whereas parameters involving really determined material’s hydrophilicity.
