Indicators for the Feasibility of WEEE Processing Plants in Brazil: a Relationship Between Virgin Mineral Copper Ore and the Recycling of Consumer Electronic Products

摘要: This paper assesses the economic analysis of implementation WEEE – Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive processing plants in Brazil, through study potential copper extraction from this secondary source. A comparative approach was performed on its grade related to levels virgin ore mineral extracted mines located United States a global average. The results demonstrate that amount mass originated recycling disassembly twenty electronic products ranges 0.24% 17.83% total mass, with an average 3.63% copper.
