摘要: To assess riparian influences on lake functioning and develop simple tools for health monitoring, the association of remotely-sensed factors water chemistry with breakdown rate reed litter was examined in Lake Vico, a volcanic central Italy. The decomposition Phragmites australis determined as leaf mass loss from litterbags at 6 locations during summer 2000. Water temperature, dissolved oxygen, nitrogen phosphorus concentrations, pH, conductivity, percent organic matter sediments effective fetch were also assessed each site. Riparian (i.e. shoreline complexity, vegetation cover, distance shoreline) estimated satellite images (Landsat VII). External loadings largely explained spatial heterogeneity metabolism. Decomposition fastest northern area that drained most watershed, including larger portion wetland area. Rates correlated exponentially soluble reactive (SRP) concentration, positively associated total-P (TP) concentration percentage sediments, which, turn, influenced by riparian-related waveexposure (fetch). A relationship existed between index load, RL, which combined three factors, both SRP, suggesting is promising cost-saving tool monitoring function using data.
