摘要: Abstract The oxidation of Fe(II) produced by dry oscillating milling on natural magnetite was investigated X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), determinations point zero charge (PZC), and Mossbauer spectroscopy. Examinations surface samples (original milled at different times), XPS, indicate an increase in Fe(III) content evidenced modifications Fe 2p O ls photopeaks. deconvolution photopeaks agree with Fe(III)/Fe(II) relationship 2.5 to 2.9 from original sample 40' respectively. Determinations PZC let us infer the formation oxide mixture, grinding, 3 4 iron higher (that could be α-Fe 2 or γ-Fe ). By presence revealed amounts that increased grinding time.
