摘要: Different techniques were investigated in order to determine the Na, K and Cl concentrations ofDunaliella tertiolecta cells adapted a large range of salinity (20 1640 mM NaCl). The cell 6 13 times higher than concentration external medium (11 mM). Na concentrations, on other hand, lower at all salinities tested. Considerable differences absolute values were, however, found according technique employed. These results are interpreted terms compartmentalization (at least two compartments). It is postulated that larger compartment regulates its ion maintaining low high whereas second equilibrates with medium. cation permeability membrane limiting regulating altered by antibiotics nystatin monensin.
