摘要: Around the world people express very different concerns about wildlife, and general public may have quite perceptions from those of professional conservationists. In a survey among American Japanese public, for instance, only 30% 18%, respectively, regarded habitat destruction by humans as major threat to wild species. Nor are attitudes opinions entirely predictable measures education national development. The Japanese, large, were found harbour ‘mastery nature’ outlook which westerners would probably now consider be naive outdated. Japan this attitude was not strongly influenced level education, whereas in USA college-educated expressed greater ecological ethical concern animals than did lower educational attainment (Kellert 1991).
