摘要: Abstract Using the back-calculation approach, simultaneous estimation of rate and breakage distribution parameters has been carried out for a complex pyritic ore from batch ball mill size data. The showed several deviations normal grinding behavior: (i) slope Gaudin-Schumann plots in fine range varied with feed time, (ii) first-order marked curvature initial period grinding, (iii) did not conform to relationship S i = Ax α , even range, (iv) exhibited high degree non-normalizability. main problem encountered was choice suitable functional form function. This paper illustrates limitations two existing forms other used this work, emphasizes need having more general practical
