Lepton pair production and the Drell-Yan formula in QCD

摘要: Abstract The Drell-Yan formula is found to be valid in low order perturbation theory calculations QCD. only reproduced when quark-antiquark annihilation and bremsstrahlung diagrams are all taken into account. These suggest that the experimentally extracted quark antiquark distribution functions (which slowly violate Bjorken scaling) used formula, subprocesses such as those involving of massive lepton pair, or ones with gluons initial state, should not calculated independently, they already included formula.
